It Splits All Our Atoms Like Corn Husks
by Peter

Amid a tumultuous umbrella of juvenile wings, fledgling godwits have once again stuttered and stammered their way from the dark hearth of hibernatory slumber. Out from the nest, out from beneath the wings of their parents, out from comfort and care and into the cold January morning.

Welcome to Godwits new nesting ground.

Have a wander, explore. You may notice that veteran Godwit Adam has sprung his flight feathers and migrated to pastures new, and that another young gun, Matthias, has been fortituously swept in on the tradewinds to bolster the ranks of your favourite avian army. Those with an ear to the ground and an eye to the sky may also become aware of new birdsong, laboured upon from the depths of the winter nest, newly springing from the hatchling gullet.

From the ornothologists, bustling about in the hides and the undergrowth, we have wire that new lithographic images have been obtained, and for those who prefer a more immersive experience, Godwits are sharpening their beaks for a string of upcoming shows (check myspace or the migration section of the site). Please show your support. Please come in droves.

Peace, prosperity and the early catching of worms,

Godwits x
